CLANNAD 03

CLANNAD
Sanae is made of Inoue Kikuko, win and love~~
Oh why are the mothers of Key stories so made of win and love?

CLANNAD
Yuusuke is… definitely “unique”. (Somehow, these days, whenever I think of “unique”, Yuki.N’s scene comes in to mind…)

CLANNAD
Oh Sunohara… will you ever grow up? Brilliant idea there by trying to prove that Tomoyo is a guy by asking her to lend him a razor. Brilliant. Nice 743 HIT COMBO there by Tomoyo, though less dramatic than the first two ones of her.

CLANNAD
Fuuko is the other provider of LOL’s of this episode. Ai Nonaka’s voice on Fuuko’s character is really a nice fit. Can’t wait to see her drink juice with her nose. That would definitely make anyone LOL.

CLANNAD
Oh Sunohara, not you again. He definitely deserves credit for surviving both Tomoyo’s kicks and Kyou’s dictionary kick combo… it balances out with his extreme boke-ness. Anyways, nice kick!

CLANNAD
Kyou has the bestest facial expressions of all the CLANNAD characters. Sadly, her show time is really limited :(. We need more Kyou, Kyo(u)Ani!

CLANNAD
Too bad piglets in real life are not even 1% as cute as Botan is…

CLANNAD
Oh… Nagisa and her Dango Daikazoku mania. Better concentrate more on the theater club though… even Tomoya knows more about it than you do :P.

Well, highlights done, I’ll say, that in my honest opinion, KyoAni is definitely packing in a lot of stuff in the anime. The sense of flow was rather broken this episode, with a lot of jumping here and there. Still, they’re doing a good job entertaining us with CLANNAD and the story is being told properly… well, mainly Nagisa’s one, at the expense of the rest. I guess there was way too much material in CLANNAD to properly put in. I really wish we could see more of Tomoyo and Kyou apart from their kicks and dictionary attack + awesome facial expression respectively, in each episode.

    Ones that you raise as a pet…and not as meat on a farm can be ridiculously cute and can stay that way for a while. The trick is a balanced diet and to NOT to overfeed. Yes farm pigs are overfed, they aren’t meant to grow that big naturally. Breeding have taken away a pig’s natural appetite inhibition software…so you have to control it for them.

    Maybe because they have secret mother complexes.

    They need to cut back on the Tomoyo combos. They’re less impressive the more I see them. :/

    Agreed, the numbers are going to be legendary by the end of the series -_-“

    they may even… run out of numbers…

    No…they’ll just go up to 9999 for the last episode. It is still Japan after all.

    “Sanae is made of Inoue Kikuko, win and love~~”

    Sanae = Inoue Kikuko + win + love
    Sanae = (∞(win) + ∞(love)) + win + love
    Sanae = (∞(win) + ∞(love))
    Sanae = Inoue Kikuko

    I can see that.

    “they may even… run out of numbers…”

    It won’t matter once they go OVER 9000!!!!!! After that it’s just academic… ^_^

    @Zzz..: Ah, I see. Thanks for the information. Well… it’s pretty unlikely I’ll get one as a pet anyways.

    Still… Key makes the cutest pet mascots.. First, Piro, then Potato and now Botan…

    @quigonkenny: I LOL’ed at the equation.

    I don’t think we have to worry about KyoAni running out of numbers. That worry needs to be given to Gainax instead…. after TTGL, I’m scared of how high their next mecha or sci-fi series’ scale will go up to…

    Heh countinous combo counter ftw!!!! From the preview it seems that Sunohara is admiting defeat?!?!

    the combo counter will reach over 9000 by the time of the final episode.

    Is the combo counter really keeping a running total across all the episodes? Going frame-by-frame, this episode’s counter started at 517 when ep2 ended at 528.

    Although a 743-hit combo from 0 doesn’t make sense with this short encounter. …I wonder where all that blue light comes from. Does the speed of her legs break down the electrostatic barriers of air, causing arcs all over the place?

    Fuuko is adorable. If she follows commands without question, you know .. I’d sooner just ask her out. Not request silly things like holding out her hand. ^^;

    Kyou wears light blue. Must make note.

    i predit 6400 max hits for tomoyo since if you remove 2 zero’s, then you get a number similar to the game hits….

    “Watashi no pan wa…watashi no pan wa!”

    And It’s funny that the seiyu who voices the woman that Tomoya gives the bread to is the voice of Akiko in Kanon.

    and why isn’t Yuusuke considered GAR? He’s GAR as Garcher.
