Ninomiya 03

Boobs make awesome shock absorbers.

Oh god, wtf was this episode trying to do?

So basically, Reika has started adjusting to life in the Ninomiya mansion, trying to bear with Ninomiya-neesan’s attempts at forcing Mayu towards Shungo. I’ll say, Shungo has godly self-control, for managing not to jump on Mayu this far. Also, LOL at Ninomiya-neesan’s reference to Saw there and how Reika curls her hair just by using her fingers XD.

Later on, at school, Hinako Ayakawa, the leader of the “Harass Ninomiya-kun” faction, tries to get to know more of Mayu by her ownself, first by distracting away Shungo with the class president (I think). She then brings her around town, where she drags Mayu to a lingerie shop and acknowledges Mayu’s own charms (read: boobs).

Oh god Mayu is hot!

Meanwhile though, Reika is trying harass Mayu, mainly through the means of hiring tons of muscled men crossdressing (oh god…). Let’s just say this part is filled with eyecancer and I shall spare my readers all the lurid details.

So, after a whole day of being screwed around about, Hinako and Mayu get a temporary respite. Hinako notices Mayu looking at some old mangas, specifically “Nerawareta Ace” (obvious parody of Ace wo Nerae) and discovers she’s a big fan of one. Hinako realizes that Mayu is just a normal girl and decides to be her friend. Shungo, who’s been protecting her from the shadows, is relieved at that.

The next day, Hinako presents Mayu with some rare manga and uh, something explicit as well. Right on cue, their homeroom teacher walks in and announces a spot check, causing Mayu to run away, only to be caught.. dropping a yaoi book…. OTL.

Okay… let’s just say, apart from the fanservice, the episode was totally horrible, in terms of pacing and plot development. Seriously, I did not know what the hell the damn writers are trying to tell here, and I’ll say the story is gonna be screwed up if this continues… well, actually, it already is kinda screwed up. At the least, the fanservice is enjoyable…. although I wish they would really work better on the art.

Also, we finally get a real ED sequence, which is a really cute one of Mayu and Reika doing cheerleader dance and exposing themselves to Ninomiya at the end lol. Aroduc has kindly uploaded a video on Youtube for viewer’s convenience.

Well, it’s not as if shows like these need a plot anyway, lol.

Right, this one fits my bill for a brainless anime that supplies nothing but fanservice. Haruhi knows I need at least one of those every one or two seasons…

I don´t need story in this kind of anime ;)

    Haha, I don’t know which was scariest…the bunny-girl-guys or the maid-guys.
…might be the maid-guys…yep, really might be them. OTL

LOL, the title is already said “Goshuushou-Sama Ninomiya-Kun” and that is the story you will be watching.

    Is that Tsuruya?

I agree that the episode seemingly had no pace. It lessens the appeal of the fanservice, because it’s so random.

You think Mayu will do good in SaiMoe 2008? ^^

Haha! I didn’t notice the reference to Saw, because I am ignorant of it. LOL. The hair-curling thing of Reika was really nifty :p

There are lots of other parodies thrown in, like the Naruto and To Heart doujinshi I see in the same manga shelf Mayu was looking at. And, the cameo appearance of Kamen no Maid Guy, the first parody I was able to spot. XD I wasn’t able to resist blogging about this episode after I saw that.

[…] Looks like I missed a reference! According to Kurogane’s blog post on Episode 3, Ryouko was actually referring to the movie Saw when she was telling Shungo the punishment in store […]
