The animation is good, the direction is quite solid (I didn't think any particular frame or scene looked 'wrong'), and the main guy doesn't seem like too much of a loser. Plus it appears that he has some issues for returning to his hometown, which should make for some interesting drama and story (he looks uncannily like Makoto of School Days OH SHI-). I didn't really like Aoi's rapid high pitch voice. I got used to it after awhile but yeah, just weird to see something so squeaky high coming out from such a, uh, 'mature' body. ;) I liked it.
