CLANNAD TV ED Sequence
Oh, just wow. I must say this was done pretty nicely. My early expectations for the ED was rather uncertain, since it was nicely named “Dango Daikazoku”, but they’ve done a very nice job on it. At the end of it, I even had some tears welling up in my eyes.
A discourse by two random occupants of #animeblogger nicely puts it in context:

Also, managed to watch a higher-res version of the CLANNAD OP, and I must say…. seems to be tons of spoilers thrown in there by KyoAni.

Oh if you’d played the game and understand the story, the lyrics are a metaphor of the story.

“Dango Daikazoku” is something that Nagisa loves dearly while its popularity is nearly gone. What significance the ED animation has with it, I don’t know.

loved the simplicity of the presentation: cute animated dangos accompanied by beautiful song. the message is so easily understood^^

Hey Kurogane, I ended up getting a little teary eyed over the end song too..
too damn cute..
