Lucky Star 23: A delicate line
Nearing the end, Lucky Star goes back to it’s roots of comedy, providing tons of laughs. Definitely one of the funniest episodes in show.
LOL @ Konata’s PC, which converts to net lingo first. Definitely annoying to use, no? Thank god we don’t have the same problem with English input :P. Also note that her wallpaper is the advertisement for Haruhi S2.
Sigh, Window’s built-in file copying timer is truly unreliable. Take note of that, Microsoft! You gotta love KyoAni’s accurate depiction of using Windows. I also notice a lot of clutter on Konata’s desktop, and she’s using WinRAR with Windows Media Player. Also, I wonder what is in her “ツンデレ” folder to take that long to copy.
I’ll admit, this happens to me too when I fall sick, only in my case, it’s the PC I won’t be leaving off. But yeah, you do get this people, eh. Maa~~ games and such are therapeutic I guess :P.
Haha, Patty and Hiyorin got totally ignored by Yui-neesan.
Hiyorin’s statement is pretty spot-on. I have a younger sister myself, and I’ve never gotten imouto-kei moe before, exception of course if the imouto character has some other dominating moe trait, like tsundere or something. Well, as they say, 99% of otakus who don’t have younger sisters will develop imouto-kei but 99% of those who do will never develop it.

Tsukasa says the darnedest things at times. She didn’t appear much in this episode though.

Oh poor Minami-chan. Miyuki’s mom seems to catch her at her most embarassing moments. This was easily the best part of the episode.

The prerequisite product placement of the episode. I gotta say this one was just so blatantly done. That’s the character CD for Kahlua de Majoram of Galaxy Angels II, of which the seiyuu is none other than… Hirano Aya.
Oh wow, Konata really knows to strike where it hurts the most. Not that she’s actually bigger than Minami herself…
Poor Kuroi-sensei. On a sidenote, man, she’s getting hawter by the episode. Must be that long hair of hers.
As for this week’s Lucky Channel, refer here. I’ll never see Gotouza-sama in the same light ever again.
Meanwhile for this week’s ED…. lame Shiraishi ED again, this time with him sparring with Fukuhara Kaori Hiromi Konno with lightkatanas. Not exactly entertaining, but Fukuhara Akira-sama in cheongsam was pretty nice.

Good stuff! I like the animated GIFs, but they rotate a little too fast for my taste.
Miyuki’s mom was definitely the highlight of the episode for me as well, although I got a good chuckle at Kagami trying to work around Konata’s geeky kanji intellisense as well.
And yes, Fang-sensei is steadily rising on the hawtness rankings. :3

There’s another seiyuu reference in this episode. As Konata and Kagami leave the store, Kagami spots several volumes of the Powerpuff Girls Z anime. Emiri Katou (Kagami) provided the voice of Momoko (aka Hyper Blossom) in Powerpuff Girls Z.

Looks like I’m not alone when I started to think that Kuroi-sensei is Hawt. Probably her very long blond hair and the fangs ^^
