This scene was wonderful.

And Orion, you forgot the fact after the guy had confessed he just wanted a stupid doll. Kagami was feeling kind of… stupid. Like, ‘of course, why expect such feelings for me?’ Konata picked up on this, and insisted she and her friends go out and around… She also insisted that she took a picture specifically for Kagamin.. “We Love Kagami!” (Misspelled, very cute.) And Kagami ended up hanging it up on her wall. :)

So it wasn’t so much a gag.

I sincerly doubt it. They still have to do Suzumiya haruhi season 2 before that, so odds are that it will come on in 2009.

This episode was definetely diverged from the rest, and quite frankly, the scene made me smile rather than cry….wait, how the hell does such a scene make people cry?

You’ll have to wait untill the soundtracks all come out. Each Lucky Star DVD is released with one CD that contains some of the BGM tracks of the show. It’s a pretty annoying marketing decision, since I prefer a nicely compiled Original Soundtrack CD, but then, it does add some value for the DVD buyers.

Still… KyoAni… can’t you release a fully fledged OST CD for once?

Oh men, all those flashbacks make me feel nostalgic and sad; as Konata’s father said; he was the man who loved the most Konata when she was alive. It has nothing to do with his behavior, or she being his childhood friend; Soujiro really loved Konata… that’s the only thing important.

Another point to discuss here was a hint from Konata and Kagami; maybe a prank from the subbers or KyoAni, I don’t know yet but I want to say it. Kagami told Konata that many visual novels were being made anime; then Konata pointed out that certain novel has already three anime series and the fourth one was in planning stage. I bet my 3 TB collection of anime that they’re speaking of Full Metal Panic… maybe a hint for Summer 2008 after KyoAni finished Haruhi II. I’ll cross my fingers.
