Seki’s autograph was pretty much impossible to get if you wanted to see Noto. After getting out of Seki’s panel Moyism and I ran towards the autograph area and his autograph line was already closed. If you wanted Seki’s autograph, you either had to be in the very first row of his panel (guaranteed autograph ticket) or skip his panel to make line. The problem is that Noto’s autograph session and Seki’s panel overlapped, so making line for Seki also meant skipping Noto’s autograph. Ain’t happening.

As Moyism said, Seki’s popularity helped a lot us Noto Mamiko fans: every person who chose Seki over Mamiko was less competition for us. Last year it was similar with Yoshiki and Kawasumi Ayako, although I am sure that their fandom population didn’t overlap as much.

Farplaner: nice autograph! Is that from the Noizi Ito book with Shana on the cover? My copy is in my room in Texas and I forgot the Yamibou book in my current apartment :( Luckily I was able to find a nice Nodoka poster in the dealer’s room for the second autograph session.

I would called it the perfect day if I happened to get Seki’s autograph and/or photo… but even if I had Sousuke’s abilities, I doubt I would have been able to considering how crazy long his lines were. Honestly more surprised that Mamiko Noto’s panel and autograph sessions weren’t more packed.
