Well, according to the official website, the Konota/Patricia Martin Cosplay Cafe CD and Akira Kogami’s “Cape of Thirty Years” single are being released on August 29th. And they’ve got an illustration of Akira in the same kimono that her seiyuu, Hiromi Kanno, was wearing during the ED. Complete with the rocky sea behind her.

I actually thought it would have more Haruhi references, but it was just the right amount without feeling outlandish for those who haven’t seen it (I have seen it, but I can see things out from different perspectives).

Oh dear god, somebody please tell the guys at KyoAni to stop with the Haruhi shameless plugs. It was fun the first 13 episodes but this episode was too much.

If KyoAni wanted to have Haruhi in the spotlight they should had simply skipped Lucky Star and go directly to Haruhi second season.

I figure that all the Haruhi references is because it’s not like KyoAni needs to ask anyone else for permission to use those references.
