Holy shit.

Two words. Episode Seventeen.

I don't think I've been this hyped up after watching an anime episode... well... ever. And that was the eye cancer version. God knows what it'll be like when the screen isn't pixellated all to hell. Worth the wait.

I actually haven't watched the first 2 seasons, lol. Maybe that might be why I'm probably enjoying this more than the average nanoha fan. I guess you were used to Fast-paced beamspam battles or something. I dunno. I guess things seem new to me, though I can care less for cameo characters(people from past seasons), not like I'm attached to them.

Well, the Numbers are a downer... time for the generic villain group, even Naruto does a more interesting version of that. Lutecia's group seems much more interesting because their motives are different from the "real" villain. I also lack the background on Project F, was it? It'd be interesting for more developments on that.

Really, I think if they could, they should have removed the word "Nanoha" from the title of StrikerS. It's not Nanoha's show anymore. At least I don't see Nanoha being the focus of the show. That way, the connection between the first 2 seasons may be severed, and the show can be treated as an individual. I do notice that a lot of the strikers comments are the lack of action, which they probably picked up from the past, and pinned their expectations on the descendant.

tl;dr. I'm bored. Where's my subs.

For the record. I definatly would NOT be watching this show if it didn't have Nanoha in the name. This show fails.

Perhaps you guys should give it more time and episodes before judging. Personally I've seen enough anime that don't even begin to dive deep into the plot and action till late into the series.

StrikerS is terrible. -- for those of you who disagree, I ask you this. Would you be watching this show if it was not part of the Nanoha franchise? I certainly wouldn't.

I have no problem with recycled character designs, as long as the characters themselves are relatively interesting. Not the case in StrikerS.
I have no problem with numerous characters, with good writing this can be handled successfully and actually make a series more interesting. However, in StrikerS characters are introduced for little or no purpose or significance.
On this note, I found it ironic that the writers go out of their way to make an excuse for Nanoha's boring adult personality. The writers completely ignore the concept of character dynamics: Nanoha, Fate, and Hayate have almost identical personalities, and boring ones at that. VERY different from previous Nanoha series where each character was unique. The dynamics for the recruits has promise, but in a boring environment of safe training, there is little potential.

I could go on much more, but, all in all, StrikerS needs to get interesting very quickly for it to be tolerable. Animation quality up, battle up, random characters going insane for convincing reasons, collateral damage, general ownage. It will never be a good show, because the first 10 eps have failed miserably, but it could be salvaged. If only it had been a 2 13 ep season show, then the real story could be done in the latter 13 while chalking up the first dozen or so to a mistake.

Same. The show is just boring, I know people have said 'I just don't get it', but you know what? I don't, if a show -seems- this boring for 15 episodes and they rename eps 16 'Shit finally happens" I might understand.

I think it all went downhill once they announced the show was going to be 26 episodes, they went really overboard with trying to create this grand scheme which hasn't gone anywhere or been interesting enough to hold people's attention. As I had said elsewhere, there's a difference between character building through natural events where you see it happen and character development where you get it because absolutely nothing else is going on.

Strikers is boring. Sure it gets a little better at like 15-16 but that's a bit late. Seriously A's started off with a bang! It has awesome fights and cool characters. In strikers, Nanoha and Fate have BoRinG personalites also Tea and her lover lesbo are so generic personality wise it makes them boring as heck.

The fights with god damn drones don't help anything either. I had high hopes for this show, but right now there's Nanoha fanfiction that has more intresting writing -_-;

Darn, my comment got cut off.

Anyway, I was referring to Kuro's quote, and all I have to say is that it's so true. LOL
