I misread “Then” as “They”.

Pretty awesome episode of Lucky Star, even though I needed it subbed to catch most of the gags. Getting in to more and more high level jokes now and lesser visual gags.

• Really LOL’ed at Tsukasa going all gaga using the text message function after Kagamin teaches here. Gets really annoying fast, seriously. Especially when the person you’re messaging is next door. There is a charge levied on to this things over here though which kinda prevents it, but I don’t know if Japan does.
• Poor Miyuki needs to pay more attention to her surroundings. While I’ve not missed my name getting called before, but I’ve definitely missed my stops a few times before.
• Konata: Otoko da. Zettai otoko da! (It’s a guy. It’s definitely a guy!)
• The Animate advertisement was lol. Seki Tomokazu cameo hahaha.
• Trip to Konata’s house. Izumi-chichi wins. “You’re shrinemaidens living in a temple right?”. Speaking of which I wanna see them in miko-fuku. Miko is pretty sexy yeah (<— too much Touhou lately)
• The Hiiragi’s mistaking Kanata as Konata. Why oh why did she passed away so early *sob sob*? Kanata would be pretty awesome if she were alive. I can so feel it! And damn, I agree with Kagamin (long haired mode woot!)… Konata has a pretty sharp tongue too, even it’s with her parents XD.
• I agree with Kagami’s “Kyou-chan” nick name. She does, well, share a little bit of similarity with a certain Key heroine. And total LOL at Kono-chan saying Tsukasa has a “Hi-Hi” vibe.
• And finally… Kagamin: Call me Kagami-sama. Me: GLADLY!!!

This week’s Lucky Channel…. SHIRAISHI FOR THE WIN!!! Awesome spirit on the tsundere issue man!!! I somewhat agree on his point of the meaning of tsundere being diluted over time. I say we do need a new term!!! Anyone has any suggestions? I feel it’s kinda hard though for non-japanese speakers to think of one, heh.

This week’s ED is “I’m Proud” by Tomomi Kahala. LOL at Kagamin failing at the high pitches.

*bangs head repeatedly on wall*… no wonder it got dropped by Seven Seas. While the lolicons and understanding otakus will no doubt say it’s alright and shit, but I don’t think most commoners would get it.

Surprisingly though, Kojika’s getting pretty interesting especially around chapter 11 and 12. While the loli fanservice is still delivered in spades, it still manages to develop its characters pretty well in my opinion. Man I really can’t believe Kaworu Watashiya’s a woman XD.

Anyways, tons of love for SaHa for the hard work of releasing Kojika for the masses. A chapter a day keeps the lolicons fapping, right?

As promised the male version of my earlier article. While the female version was hard to write only because there are so many choices, the male version suffered from the problem of the lack of names. Male seiyuus seem to be much lesser in number than the female ones and only a few seem to have gained much fame in the industry.

But still, they are no less important than their female counterparts in breathing life in to anime and many of them have been crucial in to making anime such a high quality medium of story telling now. This list, while limited, combines some of my most respected and most talented male seiyuus of out time, in my humble opinion.

Behold the great pixie of the wind!

Yay! More Tiana. That little pixie is so cute and funny. Kazuma had me in stitches this episode too, with his mistreatment of Tiana throughout the episode. Also, his evil laugh is seriously LOL. I’ve gotta say, Kaze no Stigma is pretty entertaining enough to forgive Gonzo for doing it on such a low budget.

Gist of the episode is Tiana hiring Kazuma to retrieve back the pixies’ treasure, stolen by the Tsuwabuki clan of earth-users. Meanwhile, Ren meets a mysterious girl at a playground and befriends her, but she suddenly gets attacked by a bunch of Tsuwabuki underlings and Ren protects her, making him an enemy of the Tsuwabuki clan. It seems that the girl is the pixies’ treasure that the Tsuwabuki clan stole and they need it to complete a certain ceremony.

Less Ayano this time, but Tiana’s antics more than makes up for it along with Kazuma’s evilness. He seems to be harbouring some sort of grudge against the Tsuwabuki clan as well, and he’s eager to, well, kick their butts hard, XD.

Bonus points if you understand the joke.

Seiyuus… they are the life of anime. Seiyuus are the link between 2D and 3D, and without them, anime, well, wouldn’t even exist. Somehow though, as important as they are, seiyuus aren’t exactly popular amongst a majority of fans who can remember the characters but not the people who bring it to life, as if Tobey Maguire was only known as Peter Parker, so this article is meant for me to bring up and expose the people behind the characters, the voices that bring them to life who manage to give them a place in our hearts as otakus and fans alike.

So yeah, no Negi appearance this time and neither the rest of the “core” girls too. It’s another “random character development” chapter and Akashi “The Kid” Yuuna is the focus this time. So it looks like her skills with the gun might just not be only talent…

Of course, Akamatsu being Akamatsu, we start off nice and easy with a undies-only shot of Yuuna. She’s one healthy girl…. definitely one healthy girl.

Watched the Kiddy Grade II pilot, released by the good people of Ayu.

Gotta say I missed the series a bit, having watched it back circa 2003-2004 on shitty VCD quality OTL. At that time, Kiddy Grade was a fun show, but somewhat lost me when the real arc began.

Anyways, amongst the new cast, I’ve gotta say that Ascule and Que Feuilles (that is hard to spell OTL) are promising, especially Que Feuilles with her black outfit and she somewhat has a goth theme. As long as she’s not going to be dojikko-ish like Eclair did, I think I’ll be on her fan club. Plus, as a homage to Éclair, she uses exploding éclairs as weapons. How cool is that!
