That is something bothering me... Does NTV7 obtain the license to broadcasting The Melancholy of Suzumiya haruhi? The official site & fansite have no such news. You can't say that they simply forgot this, cause Taiwan & Korea are broadcasting, and this is a great news from overseas. So that could only mean NTV7 is illegally broadcasting the animation?

By the way, I called NTV7 to point it out, a good half day *before* the broadcast of "Asahina Mikuru no Bouken"
Looks like those bastards over there never bothered to change the stuff.
Then it was all full of badly timed subtitles.
And guess what?
When they saw the credits of "Asahina Mikuru no Bouken" rolling, they just assumed the show ended, and displayed the "Sari kata oleh : (subtitles by:)" and then everything after that was not subtitled at all.
Also, screwed aspect ratio. Everyone looked as if they did more than just take some slimline.

ROFL! This is really funny, how the heck did they missed the proper spelling when it's right there in the synopsis? While the translation suks and ripped off from a.f.k, at least NTV7 is still bringing more anime into the country, especially for those who does not have Astro or broadband, although I think that almost everyone have Astro by now =x

LoL, first you guy complain no anime in Malaysia TV and then BM sub and what now?

A wrong word? Get a life and support your favourite anime. Now NTV7 is airing it. Stop distribute the fansub and ask your friends to watch it.

Comparing a lincensed anime aired on TV with a ripped Fansub, Malaysia ACG ppl are really one loser.

Atleast NTV7 or whoever sponsor the series pay to KyoAni and supporting the anime industry. What u guy doing here? condemn the thing? i Bet you didn't even buy the Original DVD for Haruhi.

If you want to complain, atleast write a thanks you email to NTV7 like i do, and tell them what the improvement plan u have in mind.

In response to Kurogane>>
Yup, indeed these anime are meant for older audience. (I just don't understand why late night ntv7 anime is categorised under 'Kids@7' slot... )
However, at least in Japan, some of the anime are paid programming, i.e. the production committee PAYS the channels to play the anime, which means the TV channel gets paid to air the show, rather than the other way round.
