Konata-oneesama~~!!!!!!!

Lucky Star

Konata-oneesama~~~~~~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fuck. Fuck fuck fuck fuck. Aya Hirano should never do “onee-sama” roles…. Konata’s onee-sama impression almost killed me. Almost killed me… “Ara, Kagami-san, Tsukasa-san, gokigenyou.”….. arghrtoo4d-0di093ujjdw…. OTL. Watch out for the Strawberry Panic cameo at 06:17 as well. It makes me wonder if they’re adding oil to the “Kona x Kagamin fire” amongst fans nowadays… the episode did had a high count of Konata “molesting” Kagamin.

This episode also focused on their handphones, and Konata, unsurprisingly, has Hare Hare Yukai as her ringtone and also uses “meganekkogekirabu” as her mail address XD. (BTW, she has a Kooh figurine on her PC!) Kinda pity Tsukasa though, losing the handphone after using it one day… remember kids, always remember to check your pockets before throwing them in to the wash.

This week’s Lucky Channel is…. OMG SHIRAISHI WITH TWINTAILS!! OMG SHIRAISHI WITH TWINTAILS!! OMG SHIRAISHI WITH TWINTAILS!! OMG SHIRAISHI WITH TWINTAILS!! OMG SHIRAISHI WITH TWINTAILS!! OMG SHIRAISHI WITH TWINTAILS!! OMG SHIRAISHI WITH TWINTAILS!! OMG SHIRAISHI WITH TWINTAILS!! Whiskey! Tango! Foxtrot!

Lucky Channel

OH MY GOD MY EYES!!!!

This week’s ED is Chijou no Hoshi, sung by Miyuki. I’ll say, Miyuki can -really- sing! Crap I want the original single for that song.

Biggest news of the Day!

Starcraft II

Fuck yeah! It’s right about fucking time, Blizzard.

Blizzard better not screw this up like what EA did to the CNC series with CNC3. Also, here’s hoping for a ‘08 release date, although multiple delays and a ‘09 or ‘10 release date seems most likely to me lolololol.

sola 07

sola

Yandere-mode kowai yo…

Oh wow. Shit truly hits the fan this episode. First we had Matsuri disappearing for the entire episode, then a lot of Aono-san fanservice ( loved how she fussed over her clothing and hairdo ) and then Matsuri’s unexpected reappearance capped off with Aono going yandere-mode causing Yorito to stab Matsuri.

A lot seems to have happened in the one month that passed within this episode as Matsuri seems to have hooked up with Mayuko, whose origins and motives are still not explained yet. Also, looks like Matsuri, Yorito and Aono has had quite a past together as seen in the flashbacks, most likely a love triangle between them with Matsuri somehow making Aono in to a Yakabito, while Yorito is well… still human it seems, but as how it happened, we still have no idea.

Mai Nakahara, to me, is doing a good job at voicing Aono, and it’s really funny and awesome to see that her and Noto Mamiko are voicing exact opposites of their stereotype characters. Meanwhile… Ami Koshimizu’s character does scare me a bit… especially when she does the episode preview this time round.

Speaking of which…I’ve got a love/hate the episode previews for sola now… they offer naught a hint on what’s coming, which is good in a way, and bad in another too… sigh.

Negima Live Action News Confirmed.

Negima! Live-Action Confirmed by Creator Ken Akamatsu
Manga creator Ken Akamatsu’s May 18 blog entry has confirmed reports that a live-action adaptation of Negima! Magister Negi Magi is in the works. He previously hinted at a “big surprise announcement coming in April” in a February 27 blog entry. Japanese fans then found a March 13 entry in actress Ai Tanimoto’s blog (since deleted) that said a live-action Negima! adaptation will broadcast next year. Akamatsu says Weekly Shōnen Magazine had planned to make the announcement in issue #25 of 2007, on sale May 23. He also discusses the overwhelming experience of casting 31 “3D” girls for the story’s all-female class. Source: Moon Phase

OTL OTL OTL OTL OTL OTL OTL OTL OTL OTL OTL OTL OTL OTL OTL OTL OTL OTL OTL OTL OTL OTL OTL OTL ….

…. just don’t screw up the manga… it’s my final bastion of hope for the series. I feel really, -really- disillusioned with the series already now.

SOS-dan Flashmob @ Anime Jungle

Doing a bit of a favour for dovac of the SOS-dan site.

I’m planning to do a flashmob meet up at Bandai and Kadokawa’s special launch at Anime Jungle on the 29th of May at 7pm. On May 29th at 5pm everyone who’s interested can meet up across the street from AnimeJungle near the Kinokuniya bookstore (pic here) we’ll try to organize something before the launch at 7pm, maybe a impromptu Haruhi dance :P.

More details at the SOS-dan forum thread here. And no, I’m not going to be there considering I’m 5000 miles and a whole ocean away from it >.<

Natsu no Teiban

Lucky Star

Three words on why you should watch this episode: Initial Lucky Star. They even included the cup of water in the front cup holder. BTW, they were both within the legal speed limit ^^;;… no need for the usual disclaimers I guess, but will anyone believe that they were in the legal speed limits remains a conundrum. Funnily, Nanako-sensei is the total opposite of Yuk**i-sensei in terms of driving… sadly she sucks at directions.

I’m with Kagamin on Kona-chan’s swimsuit… it’s kinda disturbing that she still can fit in to her 6th grade sukumizu. And really, Kona-chan, the eyes don’t go 3.3 when you remove someone’s glasses in real life.

Kona-chan’s “The beach is a flirting mecca but why isn’t anyone doing it on us?” really hits a note. Well, I’d be actually disturbed if someone -did- hit on her.

I must say, that really long bath scene is really long, kinda thanks to Miyuki’s “Naze Nani Rakisuta”. I wonder if it’s a good or a bad thing that the bath scene didn’t excite me at the “usual place”.

Tsukasa’s floating in the sea scene is definitely a homage from somewhere… from somewhere…

Miyuki’s mom is good, really good. “If you don’t want to go to the dentist, I’ll just call him here.”

This week’s Lucky Channel: Akira-sama is really showing off her fangs to poor Minoru, and OH GOD THE FINGER!! Damn funny to hear her introduce otaku though, but Minoru’s definition of otaku is seriously outdated.

This week’s ED: Valentine Kiss sung by Tsukasa, chorus (improvised) by Kona-chan. L.O.V.E.L.Y LOVELY TSUKASA!! I wonder does this mean that Tsukasa is a closet yaoi fangirl.

P.S. Kona-chan molesting Kagamin in the next episode preview is… is…. extremely moe… _|-|0;;;;;

Lucky Star

I support Konata x Kagamin btw.

Code Geass Sound Episode I

Code Geass

Lulu is so going to get it later…

Mmm, awesome image song by C.C. a.k.a Yukana. The song theme fits her character nicely.

The audio dramas along with the CD aren’t bad as well. The first one is Stage 9.725. C.C and Lulu are in their room, discussing about the impending attack tomorrow where he can finally take revenge against Cornelia when he’s interrupted by Suzaku and quickly tries to hide C.C under his bed. Suzaku just barges in however and Lulu starts to lecture him about not respecting people’s privacy, which Suzuka takes as a sign of Lulu having a girlfriend, since he’s “at that age” and all. Of course, Lulu tries to deny it by putting C.C. in a negative light, but it just makes Suzaku think it’s the case more.

The next one is Stage 12.55 and it’s about Shirley, who wants to invite Lulu to go to the concert but she’s getting butterflies in her stomach, making her start imagining a lot of weird things. First she imagines Lulu inviting Kallen with the tickets, then Nunally then her imaginations get wilder as she imagines Lulu marrying Nunally, Kallen and Suzaku…. basically Shirley’s imagination is something like Miu-chan on berserk mode. This one had me laughing my ass off as her dreams got wilder and wilder, XD.

Third one, not really worth mentioning… actually more like it was so boring I didn’t finish listening to it.

Random things I noticed after watching Lucky Star 04 subbed.

Lucky Star

1. Early in the episode, Kagamin asks Konata how’d she get her job when a waitress is supposed to have a nice figure, but Konata pokes back with a line from a game saying that “Flat chests are a rarity!”. Later, there’s a poster of Mayumi nicely decorating her room.

2. In one of the scenes where she’s trying to study, there’s a figurine on her desk that reminds me of the Genki-Dama skill Goku used to kill Buu in the Dragonball manga.

3. Konata watches Haruhi but the episode is set in summer. Haruhi only lasted 13 episodes and was aired during Spring 06. This means that she couldn’t have watched it, timeline-wise.

4. At the end of the episode, Konata comments that Y******* is cutting corners with the long winded Nagato scenes. Right after that… the screen blacks out for a while, depicting Konata unable to sleep. Also… thinking back, is this some form of foreshadowing?

5. Konata’s notebook when she’s wondering for the new menu for her workplace has the “Kame” sign of Muten Roshi from Dragonball.

30-pun no 1-byou no sekai

More madness from Nico Nico Douga. I’ll admit that this concept is wildly entertaining. Hope the original maker releases more of this. The concept is interesting to say at least.

Got deleted.
