Bai~ bai~ Manabi-tachi!

Gakuen Utopia Manabi Striaght

It has been a really fun ride all the way. I salute ufotable for that nice touch of incorporating the OP sequence as curtain closer for the episode, further emphasizing the message the final episode wanted to send.

Definitely, Manabi Straight lived up to my earlier expectations, even if I doubted it for a while at times. Possibly one of the best “school life” genre anime. I so miss my sekolah menengah (high school equivalent here) days and friends all of a sudden.

Finally watched the subs, even through I’ve watched the raws for the last 3 episodes at least a dozen times in the past few months. Manabi Straight was my favorite show from the winter, and so far, my favorite show all year. Definitely one of the best school life series. In the long run, I really see Manabi Straight being one of my favorite series ALL TIME. Yep, I enjoyed it that much. :)

    Watched eps 3-12 yesterday…

Wow, that was a wonderful ride. I love this series. lol It’s the only series that made me tear up quite a bit. I must have cried in more than half the series. It’s just so heart-warming how they became the best of friends. Or should I say buddies?

I only graduated last year and I already miss high school. Bah! I wish I had great friends. That’s probably what made me cry. Heh…

Anyway, if they were in the same class as the 82nd Student Council and had the 82nd School Fair in 2035, then how did they have the 82nd Seioh graduation two years later? Either the entire student body was in the same class and didn’t have a graduating class for two years or there’s a counting error. Or maybe I’m just confused?

    >>Asrialys:

Don’t break your head dud… think of it as a remark, maybe they’re trying to say us that every generation has its own count. If the 82th generation enters in 2035; three years later the same 82th generation will be graduating. I know it sounds weird, but bear with it ^_^

I’m in anime-mode right now, after spending 10 days in USA (Sunnyvale CA), I have to catch up with a lot of shows, this one included. As Kuroneko said before, this one is a series to rejoice the school-life series.

And thank you to Eclipse and GG for great work.

Me too Kuroneko-sensei, I really miss my school days… a lot.
