Almost everyone seems to have mistook her for Ayaka. Nekane must be crying now hearing that. She needs more appearances along with Anya seriously, especially in the manga.

    For some reason I always mix up on Ayaka and Nekane.
    And I realized it as soon as I looked at the above image.

    I prefer the manga version myself… although the fact she never appears in anything but that high-collared dress and the magical-skirt-that-always-flies-up-to-show-her-panties has skewed my ability to recognize her, especially as we’ve seen Ayaka in revealing clothing often enough. :D

    I agree. Nekane should have more appearances, although it could be possible considering that Negi is going to Wales in the next arc.

    Is it just me or Takane also looks like Ayaka?

    sadakups: She does in the sense both are blonde, tall, and shapely with great legs. Behavior’s a tad different… but it’s close enough that Nagi seems to unconsciously see Ayaka as his nee-san, to judge by the way he murmured ‘Nee-san’ when sleeping in Ayaka’s lap after his collapse during the second timejump while touring with Ayaka and Kotarou.

    I thought Nekane’s lower legs shattered when she was petrified by that demon? I’m so confused…where did i see that? the manga, 1st anime or the second?

    I can see where some people would make the mistake but there is still some key differences between the two.

    I myself have never made the mistake though.
