Frankly speaking, if you are:

A. not a fan of Noto Mamiko.
B. unable to appreciate slow romance shows.
C. don't understand the value of "character development"

... then sola is not for you to watch.

And yeah... that "ecchi" line was bloody awesome. It just really showed the playful side of Matsuri so perfectly.

Your post made me contemplate if I should see the series or not. 49.5% yes, 50.5% no. :/

Yeah!
I know he wasn't thinking ecchi thinks, but Matsuri wins with her "ecchi"
Ara ara... well, we have plenty of time.... and remember, in episode one we had a flashback, or maybe a premotion, were Matsuri was on a cave and Yprito walking on a desert alone... We'll see soon.

>>> Shihou Matsuri is now amongst my favourite Noto Mamiko roles.

I don't know. There still is Ana Coppola and Shimako ( Marimite )

>>> Matsuri’s “zurui yo” just so effectively conveyed her feelings of longing for the sky and a profound sadness that her condition doesn’t allow her to see the true, blue sky even once

Very good point. If it were up to me, I would make this series about longings and frustrations all characters has and how these mental issues are being dealt with by different characters. Still, I find myself liking the line 'Ecchi' the best.
