It’s all a matter of taste, BigN and Wildarms. If it were some other lame comment, I’d condemn the group to death, but Shintani seems to be made of people with a good sense of humour, so why not?

Anyways, it does seem gg is releasing Hidamari in HD also, so you could always grab that version too. I’ll be keeping Shintani’s for posterity’s sake :).

I don’t think you’re wrong to find them annoying, but I personally find them humorous and fitting for the series. If they didn’t make me smile, I’d probably be a little annoyed too. Well at least they don’t really overdo it during the show itself. I’m very thankful that they’re doing such a fantastic job on the subbing for this series – it would have failed horribly in the hands of a lesser group.
