Strato certainly did a better job than that other release I watched. I adored Akira's Lucky Channel. Especially when she went into that unwashed-samurai chest-scratch. Lucky Channel and the OP were the only moments of Episode 1 that forcefully reminded me which studio was animating the show. Re the OP: someone at ANN has pointed out that Tsukasa's dance is the same as the dance to Dschingis Khan's "Moskau". I wonder if the other girls' dances are also taken from other dances/videos? a.f.k. wins for sure. Strato certainly did a better job than that other release I watched.

It was the most boring part of the episode, although the part where Konata is licking the end of the choco cone is pure cuteness. I love that scene to bits. I thoroughly enjoyed that portion of it, and the final punchline was probably a lot funnier for me than for others. I wonder if my enjoyment of it is due to the fact that I'm used to just sitting on the sidelines while my friends talk, and not actually participating in the conversation because I have nothing new to add. Or maybe I'm thinking too much into it.
