a.f.k. wins for sure. Strato certainly did a better job than that other release I watched.

I adored Akira's Lucky Channel. Especially when she went into that unwashed-samurai chest-scratch. Lucky Channel and the OP were the only moments of Episode 1 that forcefully reminded me which studio was animating the show.

Re the OP: someone at ANN has pointed out that Tsukasa's dance is the same as the dance to Dschingis Khan's "Moskau". I wonder if the other girls' dances are also taken from other dances/videos?

Yeah, I do agree with you with the food talk thing. It was the most boring part of the episode, although the part where Konata is licking the end of the choco cone is pure cuteness. I love that scene to bits. Not even Miyuki's cute scenes got my vote for the cutest scene of the week.

And yeah, I'm OFFICIALLY addicted to that OP.

Honestly, I'm gonna keep watching if Aya Hirano does more of that karaoke stuff. Freakin' hilarious when she sang that old school robot song.

"Go! Go! Jet! Go! Go! Car!"

a.f.k. even did the karaoke for the "karaoke song" at the end. It's actually from an old show, that song.

The food part was pretty boring but the rest of it was made of Comedy Win and Gold.

The Lucky Channel was definitely the best part. Besides the OP anyway. Runner up was Kona-chan critiquing Miyuki’s moe traits.

Yeah that Lucky Channel was pure comic genius.

Overall, I like how laid back the whole thing was. It's nice to have an anime that's just random once in a while.

Maybe I was the only one who liked the food part. I was all like "Hey, why didn't I think of that before?". But I wouldn't really rewatch it, that's for sure.

Anyways, I'm lolicon for Kagami. Yeah.

I suppose one reason why I didn't mind the food-talking part was because I wasn't expecting something funny, I was expecting the characters to just sit there and shoot the breeze for a while. I thoroughly enjoyed that portion of it, and the final punchline was probably a lot funnier for me than for others.

I wonder if my enjoyment of it is due to the fact that I'm used to just sitting on the sidelines while my friends talk, and not actually participating in the conversation because I have nothing new to add. Or maybe I'm thinking too much into it.
