Motteke! Sailor Fuku

I apologise for the double posting but the OP is…

TOO. DAMNED. CATCHY.

Looped the damn thing at least 20 times already. Yes I can already see the dance probably exploding to Hare Hare Yukai levels, but personally I don’t have the confidence to say it really will, it needs too many people for a start. The song is damn enjoyable though, but I know it’s going to be an acquired taste for many.

Man I want the full single as much as Chikane wants Himeko…. OTL. Also, I wonder what the real ED will be… as someone on IRC said…”It would be awesome if the ED was a breakdance by the four girls…”

(Oh wow, 4 Lucky Star posts in like 4 days.)

We’ll see what happens. Hare Hare Yukai was fairly well put together when you dance to it, with the structure it had.

I tried putting all the steps together to this one and not only did I nearly kill myself, but I was all over the place after awhile. And the dance to the chorus is pretty simple but me being a male probably didn’t make it look very attractive.

This dance really needs all the people for it to work. Soloing this looks like suicide.

But that doesn’t stop how uber it is. How many days till we see it on Youtube?

*Looping in progress, 50 times and counting*

From what I’ve seen so far, many people have been dissappointed by Lucky Star. (One other person seemed to like it, though they dissed Kanon and Haruhi so they don’t count.)

Which is weird, cause I liked it after reading some of the manga and through what I’ve seen so far. Maybe it’s an acquired taste?

    @strangest

Well, that’s the beauty and scary thing about 4Koma. Someone can completely despise the humor in it while someone will enjoy it greatly. Since the jokes kind of vary from story to story, it really comes down to what someone thinks is funny.

And I’m on the brink of preordering this single. Must…resist…temptation.

By the way, do anybody think the animation style was simple enough to allow kyoani to make another anime while doing Lucky Star? I don’t think they’ll actually do something like that, but I was wondering. It’s a curious thing. THe show seems to be talking faces, but most of the time, they seem to put a lot of effort into making the expressions and movements of the characters. Specially the hands.

yea jiv, that’s what im thinking – one of the reasons kyoani picked this up was to save up some yen to put into clannad. it’s quite clever, i think… and it works well for the source material. that said, i think the 24 episodes thing is really throwing people off (13 eps would have made it seem less “prioritized”), but like others have said, kyoani could have done NOTHING and just made us wait 6 months for clannad. business is business, and they’re great at selling.

as for the knock on the animation, i like to compare hidamari and sensei no ojikan with azumanga and ichigo mashimaro – i think they’re all great, but i dont ever see anybody talk about the quality of animation as a point of comparison. likewise, i dont understand why the kyoani tag should make any difference.

or would those people prefer a clannad with less detailed hair swishes? lol

Lol the song and the OP are brilliant! At first, it WTFed me, but I always hate my favourite anime OPs at first. And the final bit caused me to take a ROFLCOASTER.

I guess I’ll pick up the translation now, to see what I think of the actual show…

Ahh…that’s how to enjoy life before NS.

Yup. Saw the infamous OP. Seems like the anime production team got what they wanted – to get attention. Seems like having anime characters dance is a key.

And by that OP, I’m going to check this out. To be honestly, I’m watching it just to see the pink-haired, glasses-wearing loli. :P

Sigh…And another one bites the Miyuki bait.

On the OP, I actually loved it on the first hearing. When it got at the point of single dance moves, I was grinning so much my sister thought I had lost it.

Can’t remember how many times I’ve listened to it. Let’s just say I’ve listened to it three times in the last hour and I got the OP the day it was posted on Omni’s site.

    Yeah~

To me, this is better than Hare Hare…Even the music and like you, can’t wait for the full version.

Wow… After Harusim and the famous diapers ojisantachi dancing hare hare yukai now i got a feeling like another -ism coming up…

Well I’ve read the manga previously but it is merely so-so, so i could hardly bothered to download the series. Seeing the op here… I’m so gonna get it… the dance is way better than HareHare but like what you guys says… soloing might prove a total bad idea…

I liked this song on the first listen, but I like Hare Hare Yukai better. I think I have a new anime to check out whilst I wait for second season of Haruhi and Higurashi.
