KyoAni CLANNAD Possibility

Thanks to tips from an IRC channel I frequent, attention has been brought to me on a page on the bs-i TV website, which points to the possibility of a CLANNAD anime produced by none other than Kyoto Animation. The page itself is here.

Now excuse me while I go fanboy. More details will be available on the 20th of March, according to the page.

P.S. OK! OK! It’s not a possibility! KyoAni CLANNAD anime will be happening. Sorry for covering my bases.

P.P.S. Ripped the CLANNAD movie trailer. It feels weird to hear Mai Nakahara sound so sad…

P.P.P.S For a trailer of the CLANNAD TV series, it’s after the jump.

Well duh, with KyoAni’s and Key’s coöperation you could see this coming a milie away. Though I expected it to happen a little later on.
First Lucky Star, then The Disappearance of Suzumiya Haruhi, then FMP:COMO and then Clannad is what I expected.

I told you it would be KeyAni. I mean, hence its name.

    >> Furukawa Nagisa: Nakahara Mai

In before lots of fanart with Nagisa holding a cleaver… kana kana?
Also, The Mamiko as Kotomi is win. Looking forward to it.

    It looks like KyoAni too.
LMAO @ KeyAni. XD It seems like it doesn’t it
Quick I must play the game before the anime airs so I can do more comparison blogging!

KyoAni must clearly be stopped before they dominate the anime industry…. and then Asia…. and then the world.

That said, Tomoyo (the girl, I think. I can see lots of people getting Tomoyo and Tomoya confused) holding the guy up with her Chun-Li kicking was really funny.

Tomoyo is awesome, everyone should already know that.

[…] Donc c’est la fête! … […]

The seiyuu cast for Clannad looks ridiculously good! Throw out KyoAni and Ishihara Tatsuya and I’d STILL watch it for that cast. Solid veterans in Kuwashima Houko, Nakahara Mai, and Noto Mamiko, and a couple upcoming talents in Kanda Akemi and Nonaka Ai.

Yeah, Tomoyo kicks butt. She can combo!!

    Poor Sunohara, always getting bullied…

But anyway, I’d support a Nagisa route, but I won’t mind if they follow Tomoyo’s story instead.

Looking forward to another great anime. Two thumbs up.

    Hurrah, more Key/KyoAni goodness.
A Planetarian movie might end up being a whole lot of nothing though, unless they add more combat scenes and stuff… Which would probably destroy the whole Planetarian experience.

Damn, I finally got the chance to watch the trailer. Tomoyo banzai!
And that Megu Meru remix was quite good. I’m drooling in anticipation to this.
