This anime is crap, not just because it has incest or the fact that he’s a pedophile, well mostly because of that, but the seiyuu made me want to cry, not because of moment but because of the horrible voice acting. The two main characters are probably the most irritating main characters I’ve ever seen, they have no personality and you would never find them in real life. I mean that perverted old guy starts out lazy, miserable, and dirty, and just develops into a more lazy, miserable, dirtier, pedophiliac, lethargic, person. And that stupid high school girl just becomes even more brainless and emotionless. If you add in to the fact that the side characters were boring, and completely useless and the fact that HE HAS FUCKING SEX WITH HIS 15 YEAR OLD SISTER it is a complete disaster of an anime. I mean first of all, she’s fifteen, second of all she just gives in unconditionally, third of all what she did is completely ironic to her “cute, innocent” image. It’s bad enough if someone in an anime who is 30 has sex with a person who is 15, and it’s also bad enough if you’re having sex with your sister, and adding them together is like adding ammonia and chlorine. . Their so called “dramatic” climax is laughable, the story is poorly constructed, the side characters serve no purpose and are anything but funny, the seiyuu makes me want to listen to Do As Infinity (which is a bad thing by the way), and the there is a lot of character development but in the opposite way of which it is suppose to go.
So I would highly recommend anyone who is thinking about watching this to run away from this anime and never look back, trust me you will thank me.

I met my half-sister for the first time about 7 years ago and i can attest that ‘genetic attraction’ is very real and confusing as hell for the both of us. Good thing i was honest and up-front with my strange attraction for her and made an effort to look for an explanation.

When i told her about the Westermarck Effect, you should have seen her look relief! She thought i(WTF!) slipped her an aphrodesiac or something…

I read the series before and I enjoyed it. Haven’t got the chance to watch the anime version though. Is there much differences between the two mediums?

You’re right Kuroneko-sensei; Koi Kaze is not an anime for those non-open-minded.

I deal with it because I was interested in that topic (don’t take me wrong). If they could do an anime series about a real incest case (not a non-blood-related), me hopes were on how the writers will work. And with a pleased smile on my face after watching the 13-episodes on-a-row, I was able to view everything from another new perspective.

It can happen… so, be ready to accept it, as you can accept lesbians and gays.

I find the last 2 eps…quite disturbing :P

and I just found out that Boku wa Imouto ni Koi wo Suru was becoming a live action staring matsumoto jun…omg…what’ll be next :P
