Comments on: Negima to get Live Action Drama.

Is it just me or Ken Akamatsu hasn’t learned anything yet? I mean, both anime adaptations aren’t exactly what you call good, and now a live-action series?

C’mon, this is going to be an expensive production (read: too many actresses, special effects…) with cheap results.

This is a scary, disappointing premonition of what talented mangakas like Ken Akamatsu have to witness. How his works are being watered down (not only by budget but by the fact that "magic" does not work in RL). Here's hopng the project gets stalled. AND OMG MTRCB

If he authorized this, someone must’ve gotten him seriously drunk. :P Live Action Jigoku Shoujo’s bad enough, but having a classroom full of schoolgirls chasing a ten year old boy? Or are they going to hack the story to death again, the way XEBEC did?

… I don’t want to imagine how they’ll do the magic effects. Or the early ‘Asuna loses her clothes’ bits.

It’s also going to be extremely lame.

There’re somethings you just CAN’T do in real life, and if you try to pull it off, it’s just going to look lame and stupid.

Negima IS (more or less) about the impossible happening =) .

My condolences to Akamatsu-sensei. Unless the live action version can actually redeem itself before the Kentaku, I surely won’t be counting on it to be spectacular.
