		<description>It&#039;s an open letter from Hideaki Anno (written way back in September 2006) about his goals and purposes in remaking Evangelion. I think there&#039;s an explanation of why the spelling was changed in there as well. He wrote something like this before the premiere of the TV series in 1995.

&quot;Evangeriwon&quot; isn&#039;t a very good romanization of ヱヴァンゲリオン, though; if you want to fully reflect the new spelling it should be &quot;Wevangeriwon&quot; (since the エ has changed to ヱ), but since the pronunciation remains the same AFAIK, the romanization shouldn&#039;t change either.</description>
