I watched this episode again….to make sure I wasn’t imagining things…and stand by my decision lol :)…..to clarify, I didn’t say the remix itself was cheesy, but it’s placement in the episode……but as always, you are all welcome to have your own opinions :)….That’s what makes blogging/commenting so fun! :)

I’m with you sagematt……Although I don’t think KyoAni will play it up because of the cousin-factor, I too am hoping for a Nayuki ending! :)

I thought the inclusion of that theme was awesome. Geez, Kanon has more than enough source material to draw from, and KyoAni has been smart enough to use most of it. As opposed to DEEN, which didn’t even try to squeeze any of Higurashi’s theme songs in it (I’m still brooding for never hearing You in the animated version of Higurashi).

*sigh* She is the victim of Yuuichi’s precocious pimping. Got completely ignored by him, even when she is the one who cares the most about Yuuichi. Damn, I want my Nayuki ending :(

There was enough emotional build-up in this. Shiori has had quite her share of screentime too. And Kaori’s meltdown doesn’t seem abrupt when we realize that all along she has been negating her feelings toward her sister with all her might… to the point of her not bearing it any longer.

and the Kanon theme music being played during the “date” was a tad cheesy :P

that being said this episode still gave me lots of laughs, and plenty to look forward to next week :)…And yes..the snow effects at the school are amazing!
