I don’t know… between drop of animation quality and rushed plot resolution, I believe this episode was mediocre. But maybe that’s just me thinking about how Mai’s backstory is one of the weakest… and her power is not really quite explained… was it Stand-based or whatever?

Sheer awesomeness doesn't even describe that episode. From Mai's excellent back story to her stabbing herself Kyo ani has really outdone themselves. Kyoani= BEST EVER. After this Mai is definatly my favorite Kanon character, not even Nayuki's moe can sway me now haha. and loli moe Mai even has her ultimate reality marble UNLMLIMITED SNOW BUNNIE WORKS! 10/10 ep haha Wow just.. wow.
