did they ever do that?
i mean, this is not a big thing like eva so i doubt they’ll touch the art or is it a common thing when an anime goes to dvd version?

Seriously, they should just let the usual production team do it. Yoakena is a good series, just too bad that people look at the negative side more than the positives.

And seriously, the bad art is quite grating. I hope they’ll fix it for the DVD’s. If not… it’s just such a waste.

The art was bad, but the drama was good enough to make me forget it. Your headline sums it up perfectly. This would be recognized as a pretty good show, if it weren’t for the inconsistent (to use the nicest word possible) animation.

In fact, this team is not the team from the third episode. According to the end credits, it is an entirely new horrible team: the genga people are completely different, the animation people and companies are completely different, and only one of the two animation supervisors is the same. It looks to me as if they gave the first half to one supervisor and the second to the other. I think the main problem is using too many different shops with inconsistent supervision.Besides choosing the wrong shops.
