＞ハルヒ第二期がどんどん遠ざかっていくなあ・・・orz
ハルヒ第二期は、再来年予定だったのが、スケジュール前倒しになって、来年秋で確定だそうですよ。ちなみに 、ゼロの使い魔第二期も来年秋スタートで調整中らしい。
追記. 大きく取り上げたわけではないのに、ハルヒ二期の噂に対する反応が大きすぎて驚く。ちなみに情報元は、前に 新劇場版エヴァの速報を寄せてくれたのと同じ方からのタレコミです。
Moon Phase reports that the second season of Haruhi (long believed to exist and only needing confirmation) will debut in the Fall of 2007, instead of in 2008 as planned. This is, of course, good news for all of us Haruhiists. Stay tuned for official confirmation.

Mmm… KyonAni LOL.
Anyways, Moon Phase is a _pretty_ reliable source, so I think this won’t be another prank.
Of course it will be done by KyoAni again, obviously. Who in the right mind would change the production studio? Try imagining Gonzo or XEBEC doing Haruhi…. I’ll bet no one would even care about the show.
As for now, let’s just keep an eye out for the official site to announce it. But mmm… Fall season… it’ll be a crazy season next year.

Once confirmed, it’s probably be called “The Vanishing (or Disappearance or Vanashment or whatever; book 4) since “The Sighs…” mainly deals with the culteral festival, doesn’t it? And they’ve already touched on that in season one, so now it’s time to really shake up the series and bring in the plot of book 4 while also adding in some of the short stories from books 3, 5 and 6 and you’ve got a pretty good lineup for the second season episodes. :D

I’m pretty sure the second season will arrive. I heard from wikipedia.org that that the trailers for the new season will show in Japanese air then on to worldwide web (youtube, yahoo, etc.) so we can check out the trailers of what the next season looks like. Mysteriously, it vanished because the website didn’t have enough data to cover all of the site so it got shut down. This is just a myth, but I suppose they wouldn’t be as stupid as to not make a second season. MOHS is an really popular anime, and it would suck if they shut it down.

Wait a sec didnt the producers say that the second season was comin out in fall? o_O check the last episode where haruhi goes on a date with kyon at the cafe it says in japanese but the date/time is 7/ 9*16*23 at 1:00. What does this mean?

HAH! this is great, cant wait for this to happen.
I really hope they put it in an inchronicalogical order(something like that), since it builds great memory and you actually concentrate on the anime alot more than others. I really do love the way this anime is also more descriptive than active, some animes i really just dont get, all action no talk. This is what makes The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya stand out. A big for me is also, their is romance and its quite obivious (sort of) but doesn’t show as much. And just makes you want to cry out and want more.

This is odd.
People seem to be thinking Clannad is October, atleast ANN has that date, and the Wiki.
That would Push Haruhi into ‘08.
But Moonphase has Haruhi in 07. If Lucky Star is now, for 24 Episodes it would end in Augustish. Which Puts Haruhi at October.
So, what animu is at October?

Falco, for now no one that knows is telling anyone (except maybe Moon Phase or ANN).
Based on the ordering deadline for the Clannad preview DVD (Sep 10 2007), the October 2007 start date looks likely – IIRC, the Kanon preview DVD went out just a month before Kanon started.

So! when is it going to debut? the second season I mean, its already past its intended date. Oh yeah! I almost forgot THEIR ISN”T GOING TO BE A SECOND SEASON!! despite the animes world wide popularity, somehow those bastards at the higher ups won’t do it; I don’t know why, but they just won’t. Me I’d give a limb for them to consider the second season (which I wont really do, its just effect for the mood) But I’m still hopin for it though since there’s still three more months till the end of this haruhi less year. After that I’m givin up rather than keeping my hopes up. Oh well, I’ll miss her unfinished series, the manga can be dull sometimes with its trademark black n white so thats why im most fund of the anime, but dont get me wrong I still love the japanese comics.
