Shana 2.0 this ain’t…

Zero no Tsukaima

Shana would definitely not do this…

Kawaii deshou~~~

After watching the 6th episode, I officially promote Zero no Tsukaima to my “Must Watch” list amidst this lacklustre season.

Of course, it’s very inevitable that ZnT is called Shana 2.0, but I say scrap that point of view, since Louise is clearly much more superior that Shana, and Saito is.. well.. Saito. He was extremely cool this episode in my opinion. The dance at the ending was well handled and J.C. Staff again show their great character development skills.

Well, it’s too bad ZnT is a 13-episoder, but after being spoiled to the novels by the almighty Sushi-Y-sama, it clearly seems that the production team will be handling the show in a way different from the novels. I’m hoping for a second season to be done in a way befitting the novels.

The next episode will be a very humourous one, since a someone will be doing things that are usually not done by that person ;).

There is so much that one can compare between Shakugan no Shana and Zero no Tsukaima, so the comparison is inevitable, but I really think both are good in different ways. SnS is action and drama, while ZnT is comedy, thus making comparisons a tad different. Sure we can compare Shana and Louise or Yuji and Saito, but they all have such different roles. We wouldn’t compare Metal Gear Solid to Tales of Destiny, but we would compare Tales of Destiny to Grandia.

what’s up for the next ep? loli-goth-meido? ehhehee

btw, louise is the only flatboard in zero no tsukaima? oh well, its part of the similarities between shakugan no shana / zero no tsukaima. main female flatboard + all other characters kinda big breasted >._

    Truly is a pity that it’s only 13-episodes. Like… 4 volumes I think.

The world truly needs more lolfang-tan, meido, loli and lil girls with big furry tigers.

Oh, and not to diss any Louise fans out there but, I’m SeistaXSaito all the way. Wanna know why? Read the novel parts where they do some intimate time. :P

And a Henrietta is fine too.

well, about reading, i’ve been wondering. is there something like the ZnT novel level translated in english to be read?

well, its almost impossible to get anything into portuguese(i’m from brazil), but luckly i’m able to read english ^^

so far as i saw, there’s the novel, the comic and the anime. it seems anime will go as far as vol 3 or so. and they’re talking about a vol 9 to come *droll*

but to be able to read those light novels hmmm… i guess i should start learning japanese =(

on a side note, i still have to go through planetarian(or something like that) that i’ve got here and its making ‘digital dust’ since i’ve never touched it

It’s good to see that this anime isn’t going to turn out like some.. although eps 4 and 5 weren’t really as good as I’d hoped, this one brings my interest in the series back up even if it’s going to have a lot of changes compared to the novels.

I agree that they should do another season which holds truer to the novels but it doesn’t have to be soon, in my opinion. The colab. novel translation project will keep us satisfied, I’m sure. ^^

    Rargh. ZnT is no Shana.

Sorry to dispute, but ZnT is probably the pinnacle of the lacklustreness of this lacklustre season. I don’t mind Louise, she’s still quite cute, despite just being Shana cast in a different role. However, Yuuji cast as Saito is quite annoying.

I think I just hate male leads that are defiant then suddenly are really good at things for no apparent reason. At least Yuuji was pretty pathetic which was funny. Just remember, Saito is one letter away from being SAITE

    The arts good though.
