Valid points there Zzz..

To ba honest, art is definitely one of the most important factors of anime manga, as the medium is foremostly a visual medium, therefore, visual artistic satisfaction is a certain requirement.

Putting it in simple terms, if the art sucks, it's hard to capture audiences already, unless the series itself has other overriding excelling factors to compensate for it.

As for the question of if it is interesting to watch something that you know the progression off, I do believe it is true. A good story will always captivate it's audience, no matter if its read the 1st time, the millionth time or even adapted/ported to another format/medium.

This holds very true for manga anime's especially for good ones like NHK. Of course, reading the original manga is satisfying, but then, being actually able to see the characters come to life in an anime(that is nicely done) is hugely gratifying and makes the story even more enjoyable as another angle to view the story has existed.

I don't know. Some people on other sites has been saying that the artistic translation is off and that they are quite disappointed by it. I wonder why people are so hung up on whether anime characters are drawn exactly like they were in manga format. To me liberties are a good thing as long as the story is still interesting and follows a logical progression. Is it really interesting to watch something if you already know the who, what, when, where, and how of it?

The choices of seiyuu were well made, with Daisuke Sakaguchi, who interestingly played Shounen Bat in Paranoia Agent, voicing Satou,

errm, Satou is played by Yutaka Koizumi. Daisuke plays Kaoru

here's the cast list from ANN:
Daisuke Sakaguchi as Kaoru Yamazaki
Yui Makino as Misaki Nakahara
Yutaka Koizumi as Tatsuhiro Sato
