The idea behind the whole thing is quite cool if you can’t read kanji and/or don’t understand Japanese at all.

Yay for Malaysian anime bloggers! (So far I only know of you though. Are there any others? Whom are prominent on the blogsuki front, I meant?)

@ MMU torrent page?! No wonder all my friends at MMU have these obsessions left & right with downloading series and whatnot. Dang makes me wish I’m rich & can go to MMU too. Oh well, I guess I can always leech off of them if I’ve no other means :P

And don’t feel bad, UM’s campus is sucky with torrents & any p2p network clients for that matter T_T So whenever I go back to UM I won’t get any chance to download anything at all. *cries at lack of Hachikuro II* I’ll be going back this Sunday. All I can say is curses. Can definitely feel sorry for you missing out on Suzumiya Haruhi though – final episode, too! What luck lah ;)

MMU Cyberjaya has its own personal torrent page which is updated regularly (occasionally subbed by MMU’s own students xD) . search around and u should be able to get SHnY 14 off it.

I think there’s really nothing to do with the play on ‘Malaysian-English’ in their particular use of Manglish. Still, surprising to see that people other than Malaysians have found a use for that word. =)

Oh, I’m a Malaysian too, I study in Australia, but I’m back for now. Nice to see quite a few fellow countrymen shaking things up online, haha.

As for TMNuts, it isn’t that bad now…well, compared to a few years ago. What gets to me is the inconsistency rather than the ‘slower than most countries’ broadband. What I hate are the frequent downtime, and how you can sometimes get download speeds of 80-100kb/s for BT just for it to fall to near 0.5kb/s in 30 minutes.

I guess they just COULDN’T come up with a better name…
(or should I say that the use of the word ‘Manglish’ as the title in itself qualifies as Engrish ?)
