That megane-ko also seems to be playing sax in episode twelve at the 7:57 mark. Dammit, she needs a name. I say Eimi.

And, having worked on quite a few game hooks myself, the code Yuki wrote is valid C syntax, is the correct way to hook other processes/inject code, and you can even see use of an actual compiler on the last command prompt screen.

Pretty much everything related to technology in the series is spot on; I went into a bit more detail in a blog post of my own (http://opius.info/blog/82/).

Meticulous detail indeed.

Absolutely. It was showing Japanese IME for language bar set at alphanumeric input, Google Earth, My Computer, 3 folders on Yuki's desktop... and everything you've pointed out thus far. This is meticulus work.

[...] KyoAni’s habit of perfection is way on top this episode as well. Notice how detailed they drew the Ethernet and VGA ports, not to mention the DOS command prompt windows and the WinXP look. Though I wonder why they chose to put Epson as the spoof brand of choice. Does Epson manufacture notebooks? I also wonder how much did they spend on the CG for this episode. Looks so detailed that I suspect that it must’ve been prepared a long time ago.Maybe for a spinoff perhaps? Oh, and any doujinsoft groups want to make Iteza no Hi III? I’d gladly play it.
Some people have waaaay too much time on their hands... both the KyoAni crew and the ones who spotted these. Still, really cool. I like when artists pay attention to the little details.

Yeah it seems that several of the characters are seen from time to time throughout the show. The people at KyoAni have way to much time on their hands.

Perhaps we have a spinoff in the making or we all might be discovering that we are all megane types...

Besides this is KyoAni not Sunrise, I would gladly besiege the former if the second season never comes, trebuchet and all.

It would take a demi-God to make the series any more detailed. That or Blizzard-like deadlines and/or Microsoft-like budget. That said, I worship the person( or people) in charge of the detailing.
