She has a great homepage, with diary and photos, and she illustrated it herself. She has a new column in Seiyuu Grand Prix magazine, for which she does both text and illustrations. He's NOT salivating over Mikuru Moé Overload; he's got an absolutely dead look in his eyes, like he's thinking "oh no, she's doing it again." If we assume that Haruhi read that look correctly, then HER reaction is anger (petulance?) that Kyon doesn't approve of what she's doing. Jealousy on her part is, at most, secondary - jealousy that Kyon cares enough about Mikuru to disapprove of Haruhi's actions.
