Well, As we all know this anime is Quite awesome. And Also how we all know their is a Managa which goes along with this series. WHICH Im gonna have to read. I am die hard when it comes to mangas. Animes just help me visulize things. Anyways. This anime really riped open the story line to MANY possiblities. First... We got the Past Flame of Heaven. (Who oddly looks VERY much like a grown up Shana?) We got the Silver flame, Love storys still undone. The sppoky old man who has a wish which has a plan of his own and we got no idea what plan that is? Bad guys in the end not dying... Its just open to so much possiblities... they can make a pre-series, 2nd season and maybe even stretch it to a 3rd season. All I can say is that if Shana asked Yuji to the festival ahead of time so he could of denied Yoshida. but no... She didn't look how much pain it caused her. Silly silly girl. (this comment is totaly random and ment to through you all off)

sorry if the translation is wrong or if something is mixed up but usually soundtracks come out for movies and anime's before they actually are broadcast. But on CD.japan, they have a shakugan soundtrack for the closing sequence (by Aka no Seijaku) of the 2nd season. Now is that the closing for the 2nd half of season one, or is it for a new season (fingers crossed).

I just finished watching the seris this afternoon, I get the feeling that the earlier part of the series had more fluidity with the story progression than the latter half. I understand why they did it open-endedly but I feel that they left the last arc of the story a bit late for the impact to sink.

Anyway, here's hoping that the film finalises some of things the series didn't. On a positive note, at least I'll get to see more Sidonay (cool character) and some nice, high-quality animation (fingers crossed!)

yo. i also feel that a 2nd season of shana wld be the best man. everybody agree? aso, the ending was not complete probably, as it did not show the result of yuji-shana relationship.

lookin forward to movie

XeLLoS, as have been stated, the original novels of Shana still haven't been finished yet and are still ongoing. J.C. Staff realises this and put up this ending to not leave out the potential for a second season. They still have to think about their profits, don't they ;).

Admittedly, looking back, the pacing and the plot shaping of the series definitely was one of its low points, but still, it was good for the character development. Hoepfully, they won't screw up the movies :P.
