Considering that someone has already written an extensive summary, plus the fact I’m dead tired after attending my grandfather’s funeral, I won’t write a summary for this episode.
This episode, however, was a really great one from the start till the end. I’m glad to see they didn’t waste the New Year’s break ;). Shana’s fighting skills are vastly improved, especially towards the end when she kills off Sorath by tossing Nietono no Shana up high, following with a punch at him and then a slice-and-dice after grabbing back her sword. That’s waaaay much better than most action anime around.
Shana not only gets her fighting skills improved, her character also was given some development in this episode, with her feelings towards Yuuji getting stronger after the fight. She seems to be standing firm against Kazumi about Yuuji now, and their catfight at the end was quite a watch too. Shana was pretty cute too when she said she’s giving a gift to Yuuji, with Yuuji expecting a kiss but gets
pwned by a *meronpan* instead ^_-.
Meanwhile, there was also some Marjery moments for those interested in her. She’s treating Eita and Keisaku as important things to her. I especially like the part where she launches into the fight against Shudonai and says she has important things to her now. Now I’m just waiting for Eita and Keisaku to discover that Yuuji is also involved in all this :).
Over at the antagonists’ side, they were *quite* easily defeated by Shana. Kinda feel sad about how fast they died. They were *quite* explicit too this episode, especially with the kisses showing off saliva @_@. Oh well, I guess twincest characters are fated to be killed off anyways.
Anyways, next episode seems to have Shana fighting some skeleton, a new ED theme, 「紅（あか）の静寂」 (Aka no Seijaku) by 石田耀子 (Ishida Youko) and the introduction of Wilhelmina, so *meido* fanatics keep an eye out ;). I’m particularly excited about the new ED. As for Wilhelmina, all I know is (from ***Guren***) that she’s a friend of Shana.
